Approach
What I learned
- I learned how to convert a highpoly mesh into a lowpoly version by baking a highpoly model I made myself onto the mesh
- I used Substance Painter to create all the textures.
- I did my best to achieve the illusion of glowing hot metal by applying emission maps.
- In post-production, i added some smoke and did some color-grading using Adobe Photoshop.
- Lighting of an object and scene in Unity using 3 Point lighting
